Our team brings over 15 years of experience in development and remodeling of multi-family properties in the Kansas City and surrounding areas.
TROY PAUL, OWNER
Troy has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry; with a focus on multi-family over the past 15 years. Troy’s expertise has extended beyond multi-family in providing his services on commercial tenant improvements and air bnb conversion projects.
In 2019, Troy visited a shipping container complex in Vancouver, Canada and became enamored with prospect of bringing this concept back to his home of Kansas City. He is now slated to complete the first ever shipping container multi-family community in the Kansas City, Missouri metro.
Troy has three beautiful kids, two boys and one girl. His passions include hunting, fishing, skiing, and finding ways that he can connect with his community through cycling.
LESLIE REAM, OFFICE MANAGER
Leslie has been with NextGen Construction for 10 years. Her duties include .......
Prior to NGCKC she worked in the contruction industry for 22 year with a focus on roofing, electrical contractors and general contractors.
She enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports and watching her kids play baseball and dance.
MARSHALL DUPREE, PROJECT MANAGER
Marshall is a Louisiana native with more than 30 years in the project design and management field. Like his father before him, he started his construction career at the age of 11 - from basic general framing to custom cabinet builds. At age 18, he began his architectural drafting/project management career - designing residential and commercial homes seen in many Louisiana living publications. Upon relocating to Kansas City in 2020, he continued his love of project management of light commercial, multi-family, residential and light civil projects. He is an integral part of the NGC family.
When Marshall is not working, he enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family and builds custom furniture.
ERIC EVANS, PROJECT LEAD
Eric has been a carpenter for 35 years - a jack of all trades. He specializes in trim work, remodeling and framing. Eric takes pride in his work and doesn't cut corners - providing his clients with quality craftsmanship.
In his spare time, Eric loves to hang with his kids and grandkids and antique shop or go to auctions.
JAKE, FIELD TECHNICIAN
Jake has experience in foundation/concrete repairs, drainage and irrigation systems. He is married, has three sons, and is an avid outdoorsman who loves adventures in nature.
TOMMY KITTRELL, FIELD TECHNICIAN
Thomas has been involved in the construction industry for approximately four years and has been a Certified Home Inspector for one year. Thomas is also the sole owner and operator of Conquest Home Inspections LLC.
He is a Certified Inspector for Mold, Radon and Wood Destroying Organisms through InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and IAC2 (International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants).
Thomas is married to Heather and they have two sons, Eilam (8 yrs old) and Ira (6 yrs old).
They like to go camping during the summer and enjoy the outdoors. Thomas’ hobbies are fishing and hunting!

Next Generation Construction has managed construction needs for our entire community of apartment homes for over 15 years and over 5,000 units. Troy has also brought his team and expertise in implementing my vision for converting an old general store to office space in 2009 and an old 16,000 square foot warehouse in historic West Bottoms into office space which now serves as my company’s headquarters. He has recently transitioned an old, dilapidated barn into a highly sought after, AirBnB space. Troy and his team are willing to take on any idea I have, no matter how complicated and see it through beautifully. He works with high integrity and dedication. I will continue to use Next Generation in developing my next generation of ideas.
